Why I Created This Space

Why I Created This Space

If you’re here, you’re probably a lot like me — you want to feel good in your body again, you’re tired of just “pushing through,” and you’re ready to do health differently. Not perfectly… just differently.

I watched the same pattern play out over and over — in my dad and then with myself. The system was quick to medicate and mask symptoms, but never addressed what was causing them. No one was talking about nutrition, lifestyle, stress, or prevention — just prescriptions and band-aid solutions. I knew there had to be another way.

The body is designed to heal when we support it, and it was through alternative and functional approaches that I finally saw what true healing can look like.

Becoming a mom makes everything feel more real. I know what it feels like to lose someone too soon — I lived it with my dad, and that pain still exists in me today. I don’t want my son to ever feel that same heartbreak. I don’t want him to watch my health decline the way I watched my dad’s. I’m creating a different path — one where I am present, vibrant, and here for as long as I’m given. And I’m raising him with a completely different view of health — one grounded in prevention, intention, and truly thriving in the years we have.

That’s why I created Thyme to Thrive with Susie — not to chase perfection, restriction, or obsession, but to help others optimize their health and live life fully! A life where we care for ourselves before things fall apart, where prevention is normal, and where root-cause healing is part of everyday life instead of a last resort.

Here you’ll find realistic, holistic habits that support metabolic health, nervous system regulation, hormones, digestion, and energy — in ways that fit everyday life, not fantasy routines or spa days most of us don’t have time for.

From simple habits to delicious recipes, I’ll be sharing the exact kinds of things that make a difference in the day-to-day — small choices that actually lead to lasting change.

This is not a space for shame, overwhelm, or “start over Mondays”. It’s a space for simple changes that compound & create lasting change. For understanding how the body actually works, so we can work with it —and learn what it’s trying to tell us.

Together, we’re shifting from feeling dismissed, depleted, and reactive… to feeling aligned, empowered, and back in control of our health!

This isn’t about chasing perfection or just avoiding illness — it’s about creating a future of longevity, prosperity, and vibrant health, so we can actually thrive in the years ahead.

Life is short — let’s not waste it being just okay.
Let’s live an intentional, present, and purposeful life.
Because we only have one life, and we deserve to live it fully!

I’m so glad you’re here!
Welcome to the beginning of doing health differently — one simple, sustainable step at a time.
